Lynds 1188 (L1188) is one of the little studied star-forming molecular clouds on the periphery of the Cepheus Bubble, at (l,b)=(105.6°,4.2°). Earlier study revealed 15 Hα emission stars and 6 IRAS young star candidates. We have conducted an Hα survey toward L1188 using the Wide Field Grism Spectrograph 2, installed on the University of Hawaii 2.2 m telescope. We identified young stellar candidates based on Hα emission and selected additional young star candidates from various published photometric datasets. We constructed spectral energy distributions of our target stars associated with L1188, derived their spectral types, extinctions, estimated masses by pre-main sequence evolutionary models. Here we present these new results on the young star population of L1188.
