Since the discovery of white dwarf pulsations about 50 years ago, extended ground-based, and recently, space-based measurements have promoted to reveal the pulsation properties of these stars. What is more, in some cases, in-depth asteroseismic investigations have also become possible. During this seminar, I summarize the last years' results on this type of pulsators, with special regard to the so-called ZZ Ceti stars, both obtained from space and ground. This includes a review of our findings here at Konkoly Observatory, too, and an outlook for the possible studies of white dwarf pulsations with future space missions.
