Nu's from the sky

Neutrinos are a very special messenger from the sky. Known as the "ghost particles", they can penetrate everything without being detected. The universe offers a wide range of neutrino energies from meV to PeV. They allow a view inside the Sun as well as into the very distant universe. The talk reviews the current status of observations of neutrino properties and astronomical neutrinos focusing on solar neutrino and will provide an outlook into the future for supernova neutrino detection and the status of neutrino telescopes.
