Welcome to my homepage!

I am an astronomer at Konkoly Observatory, Research Centre for Astronomy and Earth Sciences. I earned an MSC degree in astronomy at Eötvös Loránd University in 2001. Early, I was interested in modeling SN type I explosions using numerical hydrodynamics. Later on, my attention turned to observational astronomy such as high-precision CCD photometry, speckle interferometry, and lucky imaging. From 2008 my research of interest became studying the interaction of planets with protoplanetary discs formed around young stars. I studied the interactions of planets and discs employing hydrodynamical simulations and the observability of newly formed planets through IR spectroscopic features of CO molecule. I earned a Ph.D. degree in astronomy at Eötvös Loránd University in 2012. Now, I am working in the field of the theory of planet formation.

I am affiliated at the Konkoly Observatory, Research Centre for Astronomy and Earth Sciences as a senior research fellow. I was the PI of the Computational Astrophysics Group, CAG, which is now transformed to the 3D Numerical Astrophysics Laboratory 3DNAL. I also participate in "Lendület" Group lead by Prof. L. L. Kiss, Infrared Group lead by Dr. Péter Ábrahám, and "Lendület" Group lead by Dr. Ágnes Kóspál at Konkoly Observatory.
